Recently, I started out to upload new videos every Sunday as I made plane spotting at Changi Beach without editing the video. I was thinking that what will my subscribers think of when I suddenly upload 13 videos out of a sudden, so I set all videos to private and then publish it every Sunday. Now, with Windows Movie Maker 2012 together with my phone, I can edit them and somehow compile some of it. Since I said that I will upload new videos every Sunday, I have to keep that promise and upload videos frequently. You may watch my videos of plane spottings at https://tinyurl.com/SvensonLiew and search up my playlist "Plane Spotting" for all my plane spotting videos.

Now, its time for me to tell everyone which is the hotspot for best plane spottings in Singapore.

1. Changi Beach

Changi Beach is the common spot I went to make plane spotting. Although it wasn't the place where it was covered by fences which a lot of people go to plane spot in another countries, but it will be the best place to spot when the landings were made at Runway 20C/20R. When direction is changed, it won't be a good hotspot for plane spotting because normally takeoffs were made at 02C if the direction is north and landings were normally made at 02L. So, if you want to know what is the direction of takeoffs and landings, I will tell you more at the end of this article. Do take note, transportation by bus is available BUT if you're on a bus that stops at Changi Village bus interchange, then you have to cross a bridge which links you to Changi Beach, in the Chnagi Villlage area, there will be a lot of trees as Singapore is the garden city, thats why if you're on your way to Changi Beach across the bridge and a plane is about to approach, check if there's many people crossing the bridge or not, so that you can film your video as long as you want, but I will reccomend you to do plane spotting at the fishing pier of Changi Beach (where there's a railing to prevent you from falling into the water that is the best for fishing) so that you do really have a close-up with the plane. Now you might know why I choose to spot the landings because they're very close to the ground for landings.

2. Changi Business Park

Changi Business Park is also a hotspot for plane spottings when the runway direction is heading north. Now, I will not mention the full name and will cut short to CBP as the short form. At CBP, you can see landings made at 02L as landings were normally made there, so CBP is like an area which incl. office buildings and Changi CityPoint (shopping mall). At Changi CityPoint's Level 3, there's a landscaped themed rooftop garden where you can see planes also. CBP is the best choice when the landings were made at 02L/02C.

3. East Coast Park (Area G and H)

East Coast Park is also a good hotspot for spotting the landings at 02L/02R. At other areas of East Coast Park, there are food courts and a lot of bicycle rental is available there, rent a bike and cycle it around East Coast Park.

Flightradar24 - best live flight tracker to look out for landing and takeoff directions

Use Flightradar24 now, it is the best app and it also have a computer website version, with FR24, you can see any flights flying around live!

Thank you for reading this blogpost and I hope you had learnt about good places for plane spotting :)
